Rohan Shankar


Rohan Shankar is an Indian screenwriter who is known for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. He first rose to prominence when he penned the critically acclaimed Marathi slice-of-life comedy-drama Lalbaugchi Rani (2016), which was directed by Laxman Utekar.

In 2019, Rohan served as a writer for the Bollywood film Luka Chuppi, which also marked his second straight collaboration with cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Laxman Utekar. Touted as a romantic comedy, Luka Chuppi starred Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan in the lead roles.
